Returns Policy


At Chouteau Candle Company, we take a lot of pride in our products and we want all of our customers to be 100% satisfied with their purchases. While most sales are final, we will review returns on a case-by-case basis if your candle order arrives damaged or defective.

Returns.

Because scent is subjective and personal to each customer, we do not accept returns unless your product is damaged, unusable, or otherwise defective in craftsmanship. Please reach out to us at info@chouteaucandle.com within seven business days of receiving your product to initiate a return. Unfortunately, we cannot accept any returns if we are not notified within seven days of delivery. To be eligible for a return, your product must be unused and in the same condition you received it in. We cannot process returns for candles that have been lit.

Any item not in its original condition, damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error will not be accepted for return.

Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you as to whether the return has been accepted or rejected. If you are approved, your refund will be processed and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within seven business days.

Exchanges.

If you would like to exchange your damaged or defective product for an equivalent product, send us an email at info@chouteaucandle.com.

Wholesale and Custom Orders.

This policy does not apply to custom orders and wholesale transactions. Custom orders and wholesale transactions are subject to the terms of the individual custom or wholesale contract.
